This course will teach you a deep understanding of your body’s movement and the essentials of figure skating technique. We don’t just give you another list of exercises to add to your list of things to do.
You will understand the motions and structures that make skating work because we explain exactly why you need them and how they work! This course is perfect for you if you are looking to enhance your skating skill technique, quality of execution, efficiency, and flow in the shortest amount of time possible.
This course focuses on strengthening your skating skill foundation. Cross overs, Cross rolls, 3 turns in all directions, C-step, change of edge steps, and a variety of hops will be trained in step-combinations that successively build on each lesson and get more complex throughout the 5 training phases.

Required
Skills & Tools
You should be able to do:
- Cross overs forwards and backwards

- C-steps (Mohawks)
- Change of edge
- Various hops
You should have:
- Figure skates
- Yoga mat
- Bone-conduction headphones
- Comfortable and fitting athletic wear
- Approximately 2-3 hours per week to train

Course Structure
Train with me off-ice on movement patterns and skating technique in a somatic-based way. We prepare everything you will do on the ice in the off-ice sessions, all at your own pace.

Watch the on-ice exercises in slow motion and with explanations so you know exactly what to do on the ice.
3. On-Ice Training
Train on-ice with me as your in-ear coach via the audio guide. I’ll give you technical instructions on exercises and support you in developing somatic awareness and technical efficiency while you skate.
4. Goal Setting
Track your training progress with the training logs and learn how to set goals based on your own evaluation.
5. Live Feedback Sessions
Join the regular live calls, get personal feedback on your training, and learn from the challenges of your peers.
